The brewery was created on a farm in 1785. It made beer in winter for agricultural workers in summer (season). It evolved and was equipped, at the end of 19th century, with a steam engine and “modern” materials. We still produce in this material craft, natural beers from local products, unpasteurized, unfiltered, and refermented.
They are fermented in corked and capped bottles. In good conditions, they can be stored in the cellar for 5, 10, or 15 years. This long conservation gives the taste an evolution similar to wine.
