The Brewery

La Bouledogue, a craft beer brewery is located in Villebon sur Yvette in Essonne (France). It was founded by Hubert and Nicolas at the end of 2015.

We started the adventure with a 500L brew keg. Today, we have the brewing capacity of 1500L. Since the beginning of the adventure, we have been expanding. We want to remain independent and choose our business partners.

After 3 years of intense brewing, Julien joined the team. He now brings his creativity and his knowledge to the range’s recipes. If you wish to come to the brewery, we are open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM. to 6:00 PM, non stop.

History of La Bouledogue brewery

We are two epicurean brothers, grandchildren of farmers and “Parisian titi”. Driven by the taste of the terroir, we love quality products.

After ten years of catering in France and abroad for Nicolas and ten years in the food industry for Hubert, we decided to dive into the big brew. Beer lovers since our adolescence, we enjoy discovering different beers across France and around the world. The flavor of craft beers enchant us very quickly. We then set off to discover recipes and brewing techniques for our pleasure. We are testing recipes up to 20 liters in our parents’ garage. A year later, pushed and motivated by those around us, we decide to brew on a larger scale.

After different tests and different recipes, we are ready! The brasserie “La Bouledogue” was created in late 2015.

In September 2018, Julien joined the La Bouledogue brewery. And we form an efficient and complementary team! After a scientific course and an experience as an amateur brewer, Julien followed a part-time course between the La Bouledogue brewery and the ENILBIO from which he graduated from his promotion.

Why «La Bouledogue» ?

It was obvious to us our French bulldog, Earlie, was present during all our brews.
As soon as a grain of malt fell, she would eat it. She also likes good products … We brewed three. We wanted to pay tribute to her for her patience and support. In addition, this character dog represents our beers well… with character!
