VZW ‘t Brouwerskot History

During the grape harvest sometime in 2013, it was proposed to brew a beer. Since Stef was already working on this at home, it was proposed to try on the vineyard under the supervision of Stef.

In 2014, we brew successively according to an amber beer (den Rostn), a brown beer (den Brun) and a blond beer (den Bleekn).

Given the success of the beers, it was decided to continue this experiment. For example, the VZW was founded at the end of 2014. The VZW officially starts in January 2015.

In the meantime, several beers were brewed, such as the Stout (Stif Stout) and the stutte (a pale beer with Spelled malt), an IPA (Bitter Ende) and a winter beer, namely Kruisekes winter beer (brown beer aged on walnuts).

We have been able to sell our beer (in limited quantities) since 2016. The administrative declaration for excise duties has been completed.

From now on we can therefore call ourselves Brewery. (not a beer company, but a real mini microbrewery)

In the meantime, our beer can be bought locally at ‘Gifts Marleen’ and ‘epoisses’ and is also served at ‘Volksbond Zonnebeke’.

The Knippelbier (quadruppel) is specially brewed for the Kippling and is only available in the ‘Fishpit’ in Kruiseke.
