APPERITIVO is committed to take all responsibility to protect and secure your personal data.

2.2. Data provided by you

Besides the data collected by automated means, we also process data which you have provided to us. This includes, but is not limited to:

We need your e-mail address and (optionally) telephone number so that we may contact you if we have questions or information for you regarding your order;

3. How is the collected data used

We will use your personal data for purposes relating to your order; e.g., to notify you regarding the status of your order or delivery.

If you have provided us with your personal data in relation to a promotion, event, (mobile) application, etc, we may send you emails or other messages which relate to the service you have requested.

If you contact customer service, we will use your personal data (including your contact history) so that customer service is able to process your request and provide you with the best service possible.

If you have given us your personal data during the sale of a product or service, we will inform you about similar products and services. We may also contact you to ask for your feedback after the sale of a product or service. In case of an interrupted sales process we will send you a reminder. You can immediately unsubscribe from any of these notifications at any time at no cost by clicking on a link in the corresponding e-mail or other message (see further below in parapraph 5).

With your explicit consent, we may contact you via the contact details provided by you (including per regular mail, e-mail, SMS, telephone or any other electronic means) for marketing, advertising and opinion research purposes of APPERITIVO. This includes for example information related to products of APPERITIVO, ecommerce activities, special offers, promotions as well as information on local store openings, local store activities of the APPERITIVO. In order to be able to contact you with information which is of special interest for you, your overall interaction with APPERITIVO (such as but not limited to your shopping behaviour in e-shops, your use of loyalty programmes, your ratings and reviews of products, your contact history with our customer service, your newsletter clicks/ opening results, your surfing behaviour (web tracking), the newsletter types you are subscribed to, your participation in promotions or events and your use of (mobile) applications), will be combined analysed and used.

4. Disclosure of information

One of our core principles is that we will treat your data with care and confidentiality. We will not sell your data to third parties. If required by law, your data may be disclosed to third parties

There may be occasions on which we disclose non-personal data to our partners in an anonymous form. Such non-personal data includes, for example, information about the number of visitors to a website or a (mobile) application during a certain period of time. 5. Your rights

If you want to stop receiving emails from us, you can simply click on this unsubscribe hyperlink and we will stop sending you emails forthwith.

If you do not wish information about your behaviour at our website or (mobile) application being collected and assessed, you can opt-out of the gathering of the web analytics data as described below in subsection 10.

If you wish to object to receiving promotional information and offers in general, including by regular mail, e-mail, per SMS, by telephone or by any other electronic means, or if you want to withdraw your consent, you may also do so at any time by writing to APPERITIVO APPERITIVO, 8 bloumegaass, 9946 – Luxembourg reference: data protection, or sending an e-mail. In case we have doubt about your identity, we can ask you to identify yourself (e.g. by sending a copy of your passport ID). Other than regular costs for communication this is free of charge.

With regard to other types of messages you may receive, such as maintenance announcements or administrational notifications, the receipt of these can only be terminated by deleting your account, as such messages are a mandatory part of user accounts and the related use of our websites and (mobile) applications. You can have your account deleted by sending an email.

5.2. Right to request information

You have the right to be informed at any time about the personal data stored about you, its origin and recipients as well as the purpose for which it is being stored. Information about stored personal data can be obtained by using the contact details in the Contact Information section below.

5.3. Right to request correction

You have the right to request to correct, supplement, delete or block the personal data stored about you. We will notify you within four weeks of receiving the request as to whether and, if so, to what extent, we will comply with your request. If for any reason we don’t comply with your request, we will provide you with the reasons.

6. Security of the information and data integrity

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised use, disclosure or access, in particular where the processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of processing and misuse.

7. Protection of under legal age personal data

The protection of children’s personal data is extremely important. APPERITIVO understands that it has a responsibility to protect the privacy of children and has no intention of collecting the data of persons under the age of 21. We encourage parents and other guardians to surf the Internet together with their children and enjoy the internet in a responsible manner.

If a person under the age of 21 attempts to register himself or herself, he or she is initially asked to provide the information as described in the above section entitled “What personal data is collected”. In addition, he or she is asked for consent from the parent/guardian to the registration. The data submitted by and collected about the child during the course of his or her visit (e.g. via cookies) may be used as described above

8. Social Networks

Our website and (mobile) applications provide you with Social Plug-ins from various social networks. If you choose to interact with a social network, your activity on our website or via our (mobile) applications will also be made available to social networks such as Facebook and Instagram.

If you are logged in on one of these social networks during your visit to one of our websites or (mobile) applications, the social network might add this information to your profile. If you are interacting with one of the Social Plug-ins, this information will be transferred to the social network. 9. Re-targeting Technologies

Our website and (mobile) application use re-targeting technologies. This enables us to show our visitors, who were already interested in our shop and our products, advertisements from us on partner websites. We believe that the display of a personalised, interest-based advertising is more interesting for our customers than advertising that does not have a personal connection.

We also work with other companies who use tracking technologies to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet. These companies may collect information about your visits to our websites or (mobile) applications and your interaction with our communications, including advertising.

11. Apple Information

Using your information

We use your information to manage your use of Apple Pay, present you with updates and to display targeted offers and advertising from time to time. Apple share information with us for fraud and identification purposes.

When you register your Card to your device, Apple may access and process your information, including information about your transactions. We share some of your information with Apple to display to you in Apple Pay, which apple uses in an aggregated and de-identified way to help improve Apple Pay. Using Apple technology

Apple may change Apple Pay from time to time APPERITIVO S.A.r.L has no control over Apple’s decisions to change Apple Pay or any of its services or products (including Apple’s terms or use or privacy policies). In order to use Apple Pay, you must agree to Apple’s terms of use and privacy policy.

What personal information do we collect?

APPERITIVO collects and/or tracks the following types of personal information:

• The personal information you have provided us through our online card activation process including:

  • home or work address; and
  • telephone number.
• There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by APPERITIVO. This information can include:
  • your IP address;

  • access times.
• Information we receive from third parties including card program sponsors, credit bureaus and information services and aggregation businesses, regarding verification of identification details.

Throughout the life of your product or service, we may collect and hold additional personal information about you. This could include transaction information or making a record of queries or complaint you make.
